Lot Description

A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind full hunter quarter repeater, the white enamel dial having black Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, plain case with import hallmarks for Edinburgh 1924, numbered 48793, hallmarked cuvette, fitted with an unsigned frosted gilt fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement, overcoil hairspring and quarter repeating complication. Case diameter 55mm. Total weight 99gms.

9ct gold quarter repeater, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks to the dial, dial is not set perfectly straight, tiny marks to the hands, seconds hand is missing, light scratching to the glass, scratching to the 9ct gold case consistent with general use, some heavy denting to the case in particular to the side and back of the case, some obvious heavy force to the back case opening, heavy dent to the bow.
