Lot Description

MOUAWAD - a sapphire and diamond dress ring. The oval-shape sapphire within a tapered baguette-cut diamond surround to the asymmetric shoulders and plain band. Signed Mouawad. Estimated sapphire weight 2cts. Stamped 750.

Condition Report

Overall condition good/fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. Dimensions of sapphire 8.4 by 6.9 by 4.35mm. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct, the diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. The sapphire appears quite translucent with easily visible angular colour zoning. There are some easily visible inclsuions with the unaided eye. There are some dents to the back of the band.
