Lot Description

An amethyst and split pearl brooch. Of openwork design, the oval-shape amethyst within a split pearl scrolling surround. Stamped 15ct. Length 3.3cms. Weight 4.4gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The split pearls are moderately well matched with some discoloured and/or replacement gems. One of the seed pearls has noticeable cracks. Please see important notices in the back of the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The amethyst is a deep purple hue with minor abrasions.
