Lot Description

A selection of ivory, bone and plastic jewellery, to include a late 19th century carved ivory Chinese scene brooch, a carved bone Crystal Palace memento brooch and three other items of jewellery.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The lot also includes a 9ct gold mounted ivory pendant carved in the shape of a tooth, hallmarks for Sheffield, 1976, a pair of bone ear studs, each carved as roses, and an elephant brooch. The Chinese scene brooch has some minor chips to the carving. The ivory is loose within its mount. Length 4.6cms. The ivory bone and plastic are discoloured. The crystal palace brooch has some more noticeable chips. Lengths of brooches 4.2 to 5.5cms. Length of pendant 5cms. The ear studs have fixed post fittings for pierced ears. The pendant has had the mount glued on.
