A Japanese Meiji period ivory okimono modelled as a fisherman wearing a straw hat, holding a conch shell in his right hand, a bamboo-handled eel spear in the other, standing with one leg raised upon a rock, waves crashing at his feet, incised red seal mark beneath, 7.75", (19.5cm) high.
