Lot Description

A silver-gilt and yellow enamel dressing table clock of Art Deco style, having a 1.5-inch silvered Arabic dial with raised gilt numerals framing moon hands, the Swiss back-wound 7-jewel movement with lever escapement, the dial surround with wavy engine turned decoration and lemon yellow enamel within raised wavy surround, with brass easel support, hallmarked verso Birmingham, 1923, maker Joseph Gloster Ltd, 7cm, (2.75") high.

Movement is ticking but not guaranteed.

Case - a couple of small 'pops' to enamel but basically good.

Balance wheel appears to run and it ticks. the hour an minute adjust is loose and comes off. Tip of finger is detached but present.
