Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold split pearl and diamond cluster ring. The split pearl within a vari-cut diamond surround with further split pearl accents to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1898. Weight 3.2gms.

Overall condition good. There are are scratches to the band in keeping with the age of the piece. The split pearls are in good condition. The majority of the old-cut diamonds are old-cut diamonds, two have been replaced with single-cut diamonds. The diamonds are bright,  individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Some of the settings may need to be secured. The inner hallmark is rubbed, the date letter and assay stamp just legible. Ring size J. Weight 3.2gms.
