Lot Description

Late Victorian silver christening mug, of circular form with rounded bottom and engraved with floral and foliate swag and pendant motifs and monogram to one side, the whole with a 'c' shape handle and raised above a spreading circular foot, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1895, height measuring 3 1/8 inches (8 cm);  together with an Edwardian small christening mug of plain tapering form, hallmarked Birmingham 1904, and a miniature twin handled trophy, hallmarked Birmingham 1936.  Combined weight 6.13 ozt (190.8 grams). All three pieces display general wear, tarnishing and surface marks and scratches.  Some deeper scratches and minor nicks.dints in some areas.  Engraved decoration to Victorian mug is generally okay and hallmarks are clear and legible.  Several dints to the tapering mug, especially around the base rim and main rim is slightly misshapen.  Engraved 'Leah 1905' and hallmarks are clear and legible.  Miniature trophy has numerous dints.  Hallmarks clear.
