Lot Description

A selection of nineteenth century and later silver items, to include a tortoiseshell and silver mounted glass jar, a nineteenth century caddy spoon and a pierced converted jar. Total weighable silver and white metal weight 6.82 ozt (212 grams).

The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches and dents in keeping with general wear. The lot also includes a silver Albert chain, a white metal vesta case with blue and white enamel shield crest, a "sterling silver" stamped pencil, an "800" stamped teaspoon, a piece of silver, AF, a mother-of-pearl cased swiss army knife and a silver foliate embossed slipper form stoup. The stoup has small splits and bends to the centre of the back. The converted pot has a piece of the fret work broken off. The lid has a hole through to the interior and there is a small section soldered to the side. The tortoiseshell lidded post has dents and a crack to the tortoiseshell. The caddy spoon marks are worn with only a partial makers mark legible.
