Lot Description
Edwardian silver mounted bevelled glass mirror of rectangular form, the silver frame with vacant cartouche to the shaped top and elaborately pierced and embossed throughout with trailing flowers and scrolling foliage, easel back. Hallmarked Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1901. Overall height measures 10 3/4 inches (27.5 cm).

Condition Report
The silver mount is quite tarnished and displays general wear and surface marks and scratches all over. There are a number of small holes, splits and small dints in the metal throughout and there is considerable damage to the shaped top. The material on the wooden frame is very deteriorated and has nearly worn away completely. Hallmarks are legible.
