Each piece displays general wear and surface marks and scratches.  There are some deeper scratches and minor nicks in places and some small surface dints.  Some seam lines are visible and there a re a couple of small splits in the metal to the hair brush.  On the same hair brush, there is a small area of damage to the enamel, where a piece has chipped away.  Otherwise the enamel and gilding appears to be generally okay.  Hallmarks to the hair brush and hand mirror are quite rubbed and distorted but those on the clothes brush are very clear.  Deterioration to brush sections and to the fitted case.  Case also contains a leather case for a comb but the comb is missing.
