Lot Description

A Victorian silver-gilt heart shaped bonbon dish of embossed and pierced form. Hallmarked William Comyns & Sons London 1893. Together with an Edwardian silver child's spoon depicting 'This Little Piggy' nursery rhyme, hallmarked Levi & Salaman Birmingham 1903, registration number 348578 and a Russian silver and niello spoon. Gross weight 5 ozt (160 grams). (3).

All three items display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The gilding to the bonbon dish remains bright, there are a few dents visible to the edge of the dish. The Russian spoon appears very worn, the Russian hallmarks partly visible,possible dating to 1861. No personal engravings visible.
