Lot Description

Victorian silver pepper pot of ovoid form with a screw on lid, raised above a spreading hexafoil shape foot, decorated throughout with floral and foliate motifs, hallmarked Edward H Stockwell, London 1873;  together with an early twentieth century silver dwarf candlestick with weighted base and three Victorian Fiddle pattern teaspoons, hallmarked London 1874.  Silver weight 4.24 ozt (132 grams). All items display general wear and surface marks and scratches.  Pepper pot is quite tarnished and has a large horizontal crack through the main body.  Hallmarks to base are clear and legible.  Dwarf candlestick has numerous dints all over and also some cracks and creases in the metal.  Hallmarks a little distorted, especially date letter.  General wear to spoons through normal usage, especially towards the tips of the bowls.  Hallmarks are very clear.
