Lot Description

A Victorian silver book mark modelled as a trowel, hallmarked L Spiers Birmingham 1887, length measuring 8 cm. Together with an Edwardian embossed silver envelope seal holder, hallmarked Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings (Frank) Shepherd Birmingham 1908, a second early twentieth century silver envelope seal holder, hallmarked Birmingham 1912, an Edwardian embossed silver mounted small glass vanity pot, a 1920’s silver initialled napkin ring and a pair of 1930’s small silver claw sugar nips. Gross weighable silver 31 grams. (6).

All  items generally appear in good clean overall condition, they do display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Minor nibbles visible to the glass vanity pot, the lid hallmarked Birmingham 1902. The napkin ring is hallmarked Sheffield 1924. The sugar nips are hallmarked Sheffield 1939. All hallmarks are clear and legible.
