Both pieces display some tarnishing, general wear and surface marks and scratches.  Very small areas of solder visible on the putto and some slight loss of detail to decoration in places.  Hinged cover to box in working order, although there is still a slight gap when closed.  Slight loss of detail to decoration, especially to lid.  A small smooth area on the lid indicates a previous acid test.  Hallmarks to both are clear and legible.
