A large Edwardian silver mounted pin cushion modelled as a hatching chick. Hallmarks worn probably Chester 1908, registered number 476678. Height measuring 6.5 cm.

The pin cushion displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The material appears worn with a dimpled appearance form the pins, the material is likely to be a replacement. The hallmarks extremely rubbed, makers mark indistinct.
