Lot Description

A French 18ct gold diamond eagle brooch. The textured eagle with outspread wings, carrying an olive branch in his feet and suspending an old-cut diamond drop from his beak. Estimated diamond weight 0.30ct, J-K colour, SI clarity. French assay marks. Length 6cms. Weight 17.9gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The makers mark is an aBc in a lozenge and the piece is stamped 9034 to a wing tip. There are loops on both wings for a chain, chain deficient. There is a suspension loop for a drop, deficient.
