An opal and diamond brooch. The heart-shape opal cabochon, within an old-cut diamond surround, to the scrolling shoulders with old-cut diamond detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.95ct. Length 4.6cms. With associated case.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The opal has a good play-of colour, the colours seen are predominantly green with orange and blue flashes. Diamonds bright and lively with surface nicks. One of the larger stones has a significant surface chip. Discolouration to back of brooch due to repair work. Unhallmarked. Weight 6.7gms.
