Lot Description

A George III silver key wind pair case pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, outer minute track, plain round case hallmarked London 1806, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement signed Bartholemew Lavington, London. Outer case diameter 53mm. Watch A/F. Together with a fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth escapement signed Beha Schwerer, Norwich.

A silver pocket watch, watch A/F, movement is functioning intermittently, one of pivots may be broken, may require a service, scratches and a small area of light pitting to the movement, dial is cracked and is chipped, significantly chipped between seven and eleven o'clock, tiny marks and light discolouration, hands are missing, glass is missing, crown is missing, case has medium scratches and discolouration, areas of pitting, dented at the edge, outer case has medium scratches, and is significantly dented, split around the edge, areas of pitting and discolouration, small scuffs.


A movement, not functioning, although balance appears intact, scratches and tarnishing, screws showing signs of wear, dial is significantly marked and discoloured, light scratches, scratches and wear to the numerals, which are discoloured, hands are marked and discoloured.
