Lot Description

An incomplete George III silver pair case pocket watch by J Millington, London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, missing outer case, plain inner case, hallmarked London 1762, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Case diameter 42mm.

Pair case pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning and will require a service, few tiny marks and pieces of debris to the dial, lots of small chips to the edge of the dial, tiny marks to the hands, hands have been bent, glass is scratched, case has medium scratches and lots of small dents, surface of the rear of the case is uneven with lots of small dints, outer case is missing.
