Lot Description

An 18k gold key wind open face quarter repeater pocket watch by J. F. Bautte & Cie, Paris, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, the plain circular case, numbered 367, stamped with the head of Hippocrates, gold cuvette, fitted with an unsigned frosted gilt movement with duplex escapement, split bi-metal temperature compensation balance and quarter repeater complication. Case diameter 44mm. Total weight 60gms.

Open face pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, quarter repeater is also functioning however it will need resetting, few tiny marks and pieces of debris to the dial, few tiny marks to the hands, the glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches and tiny dints, rubbing to the engine turned decoration to the rear.
