Lot Description

A silver plated key wind pair case pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, plain round case, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, pierced balance cock, signed C. Pierson of London. Outer case diameter 56mm.

A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, light tarnishing, dial is cracked and scratched, tiny marks, hands are scratched and discoloured, glass is scratched, may polish out, and would benefit from a clean, case has medium scratches and small scuffs, beginning to show signs of wear to the silver plate, areas of light pitting, a few small dents on edge of case, a few small areas of discolouration, crown showing some signs of use, a few small score marks at edge of case, probably caused when it was opened, outer case has medium scratches and small scuffs, areas of discolouration and residue, would benefit from a clean, light pitting, score marks at edge of case probably caused when it was opened.
