Lot Description

A Victorian 18ct gold key wind open face pocket watch, the gilt dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, decoration to the centre, round case hallmarked Chester 1855, engine turned decoration to band, decoration to the rear with vacant cartouche, fitted with an unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 41mm. Total weight 55gms.

A Victorian pocket watch, the movement is not functioning, the dial and hands are marked and discoloured, there is a small dent on the dial by six o'clock, the glass is lightly scratched, the scratches should polish out, the case has light scratches, noticeable under closer inspection.
