Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch by E. Muncaster, Douglas, the cream enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, sunken subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, all surrounded by an outer minute track, the plain case, hallmarked Chester 1866, fitted with a signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 51mm.

Open face pocket watch, key wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks and pieces of debris to the dial, tiny marks to the hands, seconds hand is mismatched, the glass is scratched, case has medium scratches, scuffs and small dents to the rear, some heavy rubbing to the milled band and decoration to the rear.
