Lot Description

An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet and seed pearl bangle. The circular-shape garnet collet, to the seed pearl foliate sides and plain half-bangle. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1911. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 6.6gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age and wear. There is a dent to the back of the bangle. Garnet pinkish red. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Garnet in good condition with minor abrasion and nibbles. Seed pearls creamy colour, with rose and bluish overtones. Fair skins with blemishes and uneven surfaces. Fair lustre.
