Lot Description
A mid 20th century 15ct gold and platinum tourmaline, diamond and seed pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the circular-shape tourmaline, suspended within a seed pearl circular surmount with diamond point and seed pearl foliate swag. Diameter 2.8cms. Weight 4.6gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The tourmaline drop is possibly a replacement, the yellow metal mount is a different colour yellow to the yellow metal backing. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The tourmaline is a deep pink hue with high saturation and typical inclusions. The seed pearls are well matched with a creamy white body colour. The diamond points are moderately well matched. Estimated total diamond weight 0.04ct. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Unhallmarked.
