Lot Description

An amethyst and diamond pendant. The oval-shape amethyst collet, within an stepped surround, to the tapered surmount with brilliant-cut diamond accent. Length 2.7cms. Weight 8.3gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The surmount is hinged to the reverse. The diamond appears bright, estimated diamond weight 0.01ct. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The amethyst is a medium, slightly pinkish purple hue with moderate colour zoning. The amethyst has two lines of abrasion to the upper facets. Amethyst dimensions 16.35 by 12.15mms, by 8.34mms deep. Stamped 750.
