Lot Description

A shell cameo brooch, of oval-shape outline, the shell carved to depict the side profile of an elegant lady, within a rope-twist surround. Length 4.9cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the mount in keeping with overall wear. The shell is in good condition, there is a group of hair line fractures to the top of the shell, not effecting the durability of the shell. The surround is stamped 9ct. The back pin is bent and a little loose. Weight 17.1gms.
