A late 19th century tortoiseshell pique brooch, of kite-shape outline, the tortoiseshell panel inlayed with silver wire work, suspending a bead fringe. Length 4.6cms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The tortoiseshell has some fine natural flaws and slight cracks. The bead fringe has significant wear tot he silver plating. Weight 7.8gms.
