Lot Description

Two late Victorian gold gem-set rings, circa 1870, to include a 9ct gold pietra dura floral panel ring together with an 18ct gold black enamel, diamond point and split pearl floral mourning ring. Weight 6.6gms

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been repaired/resized to the pietra dura ring. The pietra dura has numerous fine surface scratches. The enamel has shallow chips and surface scratches. The split pearls are slightly discoloured. Some possible replacement split pearls. The diamond appears dark, estimated diamond weight 0.003ct. The diamond is too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Weight of mourning ring 2.5gms. Ring size L 1/2 - O.
