A Danish 1960s silver brooch, by Eigel Jensen for A Michelsen, of curved triangular outline. London import marks for 1960. Length 10.4cms. Weight 12.2gms.

Condition Report

Eigel Jensen collaborated with Anton Michelsen who was Royal jeweller to the Royal Court of Denmark. Eigel Jensen training with Hans Hanson silversmiths and also designed for Georg Jensen. The brooch is stamped AM with the crown above and EJ (conjoined initials for Eigel Jensen).

Light scratches, and tarnish can be seen, in keeping with age. A heavy scratch can be seen to one end of the brooch, possible acid mark.
