Lot Description

A continental late 19th century white metal niello chatelaine suspender, the graduated niello scrolling panels with hook terminal suspended from a belcher-link chain. AF. Length 10.2cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to poor. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the white metal, the inlaid niello is chipped and damaged in places. The belcher link chain is heavily discoloured and some of the links are dented. Each panel is stamped to the reverse Depose AC.
