BOUCHERON - a French silver and gold gem-set compact, of mesh design, the lid with scattered brilliant-cut diamond and carved ruby leaf flowers within a raised gold scroll surround, to the ridged case. Signed and numbered, Boucheron Paris 57826. With French assay marks. Length 7.3cms. Gross weight 154.86gms. With associated pouch.

Condition Report
The compact is in overall fair condition. There are scratches and areas of wear to the compact in keeping with general wear. The rubies slightly vary in colour, some slightly more pinkish red in tone, there is abrasion and scratches to several of the rubies. The diamonds are bright, some of the settings may need to be checked. There is some damage to the mesh, where it has lifted, there is also an area of discolouration to the side. There is some glue visible to the inner mirror. The makers mark and French marks are clear. The compact closes securely. The pouch is damaged to the edging.
Overall weight includes the internal mirror.
