A continental haematite intaglio ring. The hexagonal shape heamatite intaglio, carved to depict the side profile of a Roman soldier, within a rope-twist surround to the scrolling gallery and ridged band. Weight 20.7gms.

Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. There is slight discolouration in places. There are some slight scratches to the heamatite.
