Lot Description

A selection of Victorian and later silver, to include a silver topped cut glass scent bottle, two wood-lined cigarette cases and a modern silver card case. Scent bottle hallmarked M Bros, Birmingham 1899. Height of scent bottle 1 5/8 inches (4.1cm).

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The scent bottle has very minor abrasions to the glass. The makers mark is overstruck. The card case is hallmarked M&W, Birmingham 2003, length 3 9/16 inches. The lot has significant tarnish. The cigarette boxes are hallmarked Cohen & Charles, London 1926 and Birmingham 1918, both boxes have worn hallmarks, the makers mark to the birmingham box is poorly struck and illegible. The boxes have small dents and wear to the engraving. Lengths 4 and 5 1/4 inches (10.2 and 13.3 cm).
