The teapot is quite tarnished all over and displays general wear, surface marks and scratches, all commensurate with the age and use.  Some deeper scratches to some areas and general small surface dints.  There are a couple of larger dints visible, to the lid and also to the main body.  There are also rim knocks to the tip of the spout.  At the base of the handle, the ivory insulator has come away from the silver mount.  Hinges to lid are in working order, although there is a slight gap on one side when the lid is closed.  Interior appears highly polished and a seam line is clearly visible on the handle side.  Full hallmarks to the underside are slightly rubbed in places but still legible.  Also part hallmarks to the handle and interior of lid.
