Lot Description

A diamond bar brooch. Designed as two old-cut diamonds, weighing 2.25 and 2.05cts, to the knife-edge bar with similarly-cut diamond intervals and terminals. Accompanied by mini report numbers 20006293 and 20006294 stating that the diamonds are I colour, SI1 clarity and I colour I1 clarity respectively. Length 4.5cms. Weight 4.8gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The bar appears slightly asymmetrical when viewed from the side. One of the claws to the principal diamonds is broken. Some of the other claws are slightly short. One of the diamonds is slightly loose. The diamonds appear well matched, bright and lively. Minor abrasions. The pin is slightly bent.
