Lot Description

A base metal keyless wind open face military issue pocket watch signed Leonidas, the silvered dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, luminous numerals at quarterly intervals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, the round case stamped with British broad arrow and G.S.T.P., above reference number T34047 and XX, fitted with an unsigned fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 52mm.

Leonidas pocket watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, dial is pitted and marked, luminous paint to the quarterly Arabic numerals and dot hour markers is heavily discoloured, luminous panels to the hands are also heavily discoloured, glass is lightly scratched, case has medium scratches and scuffs, engraving to rear.
