Lot Description
A base metal keyless wind open face military issue pocket watch, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, luminous numerals at quarterly intervals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case stamped with British broad arrow and G.S.T.P above the reference number F070716, fitted with an unsigned movement with a club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 52mm.

Military issue pocket watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, tiny marks and pieces of debris to the dial, heavy discolouration of the luminous paint to the dot hour markers and quarterly Arabic numerals, further discolouration to the dial around these markers, luminous paint work to the hands is heavily discoloured and eroded, rusting also to the hands, glass is scratched, case has medium scratches and tiny dints, pitting to the sides and rear of the case, areas of rubbing to the base metal.
