Lot Description

A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the cream dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked Chester 1870, milled band, vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a full plate fusee and chain movement signed Edward Owens, Liverpool with a ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Together with a white metal chain, two lobster claw terminations, watch key and silver T-bar, T-bar with import hallmark for London. Total length 43cm.
