An 18ct gold keyless wind open face centre seconds pocket watch.

Lot Description
A Victorian 18ct gold keyless wind open face centre seconds pocket watch, the white dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, outer Arabic timing divisions, round case hallmarked Chester 1893, fitted with a three quarter plate movement signed F.E Rutherford with a ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 54mm. Total weight 134gms.

An 18ct gold pocket watch, keyless wind movement is currently functioning, hand set feature is functioning, dial does not appear to be scratched or cracked, it may benefit from a clean as some debris is noticeable, hands show discolouration and scratches, blue hand is noticeably discoloured, glass is lightly scratched and scuffed, case shows light scratches to the whole surface as a result of general wear, slightly deeper scuffs visible to the case back.
