Lot Description

A set of late 19th century silver jewellery, to include a circular brooch with central anchor motif, together with a pair of marching ear pendants. Brooch with hallmarks for Chester, 1886. Diameter of brooch 3.1cms. Length of ear pendants 1.8cms. Weight 7gms.

Overall condition fair to poor. The earrings are substantially tarnished and appear predominantly black. There is damage to a couple of the outer spheres to the brooch where the metal has split. There is a dent to the outer surround. The back pin and catch is secure. The hallmark to the reverse is clear and legible. There is damage to some of the spheres surrounding the earrings. The ear fittings are slightly bent.
