A selection of Georgian and later mourning jewellery, to include a marquise-shape sepia-tone panel brooch depicting a woman with a sheep and a kite-shape black gem brooch with split pearl double surround. Lengths 2.8 to 2.1cms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The sepia-tone brooch has repairs, possibly converted from another piece of jewellery, the pin and clasp are base metal replacements. The glass is highly abraded. The split pearl kite-shape brooch has a replacement base metal clasp, the drop and black gem panel are replacements. Engraved "Cha's Robb Esq'r died 28 mar 1831 int he 81st yr of his age" to the reverse. The seed pearl rectangular-shape brooch has dents and small splits to the sides, replacement base metal fittings. The remaining brooch has significant wear to the gold plating, the mottled red gem is slightly loose.
