Lot Description

A selection of twelve pieces of butterfly wing jewellery, to include a reverse-carved intaglio 'sulphide' pendant and an oval-shape butterfly wing ring with foliate shoulders. Some with marks to indicate silver. Total weight 65gms.

Condition Report

The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Several of the pieces have wear to the butterfly backing, general discolouration. Ring size L. Length of brooches 6 to 2.1cms. Length of pendant 5.2 to 2.7cms. The butterfly wing is iridescent blue through green.
