Lot Description

A selection of eight silver brooches, to include a Wedgwood jasper cameo brooch, an early 20th century purple and white enamel oval-shape brooch, a riding crop and fox bar brooch and two enamel floral brooches. All with marks indicating silver. Lengths 6 to 2.7cms. Weight 45.4gms.

Overall condition fair. There are scratches and areas of black tarnishing to many brooches. The enamel to the RAF brooch appears damaged in places. There is a marcasite missing from the shell cameo brooch, there are several hairline fractures to the shell. There is visible dirt to the Wedgwood cameo. There are chips and areas of abrasion to the enamel oval-shape brooch, the back pin is missing and would need to be replaced. Some items are in need of repair.
