Lot Description
An early 20th century retractable combination pen and pencil, the foliate engraved cylindrical body with scrolling push pieces and columnar foil-backed gem terminal. Length 11.4cms. Total weight 15.4gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The pencil has been repaired with a plain band and has small splits which follow the engraving. There are some significant shallow dents to the body. The purple foil-backed colourless gem has significant surface abrasion and has lost most of the foil colour. Terminal possibly plated, with wear to the high points. Unhallmarked.
