Lot Description

A Victorian porcelain-mounted coromandel bookslide, the folding lancet arched ends each inset with an oval plaque, one depicting a young girl watering flowers, the other a child releasing a bird from a cage, each within pierced brass surround, 15" wide (closed) x 7.5" high (38cm x 19cm)

Small veneer losses to one arch. Brasswork tarnished. Panels need a clean, generally a bit tired but nice quality and worth renovating.
