Lot Description

Owen Bowen ROI, PRCamA (1873-1967).
A coastal scene with coves and cliff-tops,
Oil on canvas, signed and indistinctly dated ('27?) lower right
16" x 20", (41cm x 51cm), in gilt frame (canvas at fault).
Provenance: The artist was reputedly the great-uncle of the current owner, and this work has been passed down the family (ex. inf. vendor)

Condition Report

Two holes to upper right quarter of canvas. The reverse has been covered in a grid of blue tape, and this would leave residue if removed. Suggest relining would be necessary. Small loss to frame but generally sound.
