Lot Description
A selection of three early 20th century gold gem-set brooches. To include a 15ct gold split pearl buckle ribbon brooch, a 9ct gold oval opal cabochon bar brooch and a 9ct gold purple paste heart bar brooch. Lengths 4.4 to 3.8cms. Weight 6.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Stamped 15ct and 9ct. The heart brooch has a base metal pin, all pins slightly bent. The split pearls are well matched with minor discolouration. The opal displays a good play of colour, minor abrasions. The purple paste has a nick, the gilt finish is worn and there is moderate discolouration to the reverse.
