Lot Description

An early 20th century 15ct gold amethyst and split pearl floral pendant. The circular-shape amethyst collet, with a split pearl bow surround, suspending a similarly-set floral drop and pear-shape amethyst terminal, may be worn as a brooch. Length 4cms. Weight 4.7gms.

Overall condition good to fair. There are scratches to the pendant in keeping with the age of the piece. Stamped 15ct to reverse. The amethysts vary in shade, the circular-shape amethyst with a weaker saturation of colour, there is slight abrasion visible with magnification. There is distinct greening to some of the split pearls, some with damage to the nacre. Some of the settings may need to be secured.
